Ireland Attendance Policy<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Rationale & Scope of the Policy<\/strong> <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This Attendance Policy has been designed in compliance with the requirements of Immigration Service Delivery (ISD) to ensure EC English Language Centres maintain clear, fair, and consistent attendance monitoring procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the purposes of this policy:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A class is defined as a group of students<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A lesson is defined as a 90-minute teaching session<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Attendance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

1.1 Students are expected to attend all scheduled lessons. Immigration regulations require students to maintain a minimum attendance of 85% over the duration of their course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.2 If a student is absent for two consecutive days, or a pattern of non-attendance develops, teachers must inform the Director of Studies (DoS). A member of the school team will contact the student to establish the reason and remind them of attendance requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.3 The school will report any non-EEA visa student:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
