This weekend I am going to the Notting Hill Festival
which will get on underway in West London.
It is a Caribbean festival which it started in the 1950s.
Now it hasbeen grown into the biggest street festival
in Europe. Every a year 2 million people attend it.
The current route for of the main parade covers around 3 miles.
There is a big competition between steel bands from all over London.
People wear bright coloured costumes and make dance in the streets.
The atmosphere is good with everybody having a great time.
There are many stalls selling food and loads of great music to listen to.
I go every year and it just keeps getting more better and better.
