Visa Details

  • Minimum Course: 14 weeks booking with EC Dubai
  • Maximum Stay: 180 days (single entry, non-extendable)
  • Application: Must be applied through EC Dubai only
  • Job Opportunities: To start work, your employer must accept the school’s No Objection Certificate (NOC), or they switch your visa to an employer-sponsored visa

  • Validity: Visa valid for entry up to 58 days after issue

Terms and Conditions

For the job interview guarantee, students must have a strong pre-intermediate level of English to ensure they can attend job interviews with confidence.

Job interviews may take place either at EC, online, or directly with employers.

Your potential employer must accept the school’s No Objection Certificate (NOC) for you to take up employment. Alternatively, the potential employer may ask you to switch visa sponsorship under the employer’s company.

To apply for VISA, students must pay a deposit of USD 700.

Valid for start date in 2025 and 2026.

Processing Time: 4–7 working days

Cancellation

  • Visa fees are non-refundable once submitted.
  • Payment collection, postponement penalties, and deferral fees follow EC’s Terms & Conditions.
Travel Insurance
  • Students are responsible for complying with UAE laws and maintaining valid insurance.
  • The visa cannot be extended beyond 180 days. Overstaying results in fines and possible entry bans.
  • All students must leave the UAE before the visa expiry date.

  • The visa application fee includes basic emergency travel health insurance.
Arrival and Immigration
  • Students may be required to show their EC booking confirmation upon arrival to Dubai Airport
  • A printed entry permit and valid passport must be presented to Immigration officers.
  • The immigration process usually takes around 30 minutes.

Frequently asked questions

Study Visa and Immigration

Can I extend the visa if I continue studying?

No. This visa cannot be extended. You must apply for a new visa.

Can I leave and re-enter the UAE?

No. This visa permits only one entry into the UAE. Exiting the country will invalidate the visa.

Will I receive a visa sticker in my passport?

No. The visa is issued digitally. You will receive a passport stamp upon arrival, but no visa sticker.

Do I need to do medical tests or register for Emirates ID?

No. This visa does not require medical fitness testing, fingerprint registration, or Emirates ID.

Can I work while on this visa?

Only if your employer accepts the EC Dubai-sponsored 180-day Study Visa. In such cases, EC Dubai may issue a No Objection Certificate (NOC). Some employers may require visa sponsorship under their own company.
