3-Day Garden Route and Safari
Would you like to explore the Garden Route in one epic weekend? Then this option is for you. This three-day itinerary covers the area’s best highlights.
Travel along the Garden Route, a beautiful part of South Africa’s southeastern coast. Look out for members of Africa’s Big 5, bungy jump, canoe along reed and dense forest-lined rivers, and spot African wildlife on a safari!
Your road trip begins as we drive you along the longest wine route in the world, South Africa’s Route 62. Enjoy the rugged scenery and winding roads as you travel to Oudtshoorn to explore the fascinating underground maze of the Cango Caves. More adventure awaits over the next two days:
- Walk with three orphaned elephants as they venture to their water hole.
- Canoe along tranquil waters in Wilderness, keeping an eye out for the area’s birdlife.
- Face your fears as you jump off the world’s highest bridge bungy or visit the lush forests of the Garden Route area.
- Bundu-bash through the fynbos on a 4×4 safari with a game ranger as you set out to spot members of Africa’s Big Five, and connect with nature on a short guided bushwalk during your Safari in a private game reserve.
There is a lot to explore on this 3-day adventure, so let’s get going!
Departing from Johannesburg, walk on the wild side and join us on our Kruger National Park safari.
4-Day Kruger Park Big 5 Camping Safari
On this four-day tour, you experience the best of both worlds by spending some time in our custom-designed truck (excellent photo opportunities from a high vantage point) and the rest of the time in an open 4×4 safari vehicle. Your guides will drive the various roads that link the Kruger National Park in search of the wildlife that roams free.
Sightings are never guaranteed, but the more area covered, the better our chances of catching a glimpse of the ever-elusive spotted cats, so keep your eyes open on the ground and up in the marula trees.
Experience the thrill of being on Safari, observing the Big 5, including zebras, giraffes, and rhinos, and be inspired by an authentic African atmosphere in the largest game reserve in South Africa.
Kruger National Park is larger than some small European countries and has less than two million hectares of conservation area. There will be early morning nature walks and evening game drives, allowing you to experience the bush before sunrise and after sunset when the nocturnal animals are at their busiest.
Before returning to Johannesburg, we will visit the scenic Panorama Route and view Gods Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, and the Three Rondavels—all part of the World Heritage Blyde River Canyon, the third-largest canyon in the world. As you follow the winding path, you have to stop and marvel at the astonishing panoramic views below as the cliff’s sheer edges drop 800m into the river below.
