How it works

Structure

Every EC Live lesson includes pre and post-lesson assignments set by your teacher to ensure success.

Before class (15 mins.)
Your teacher will set up a pre-class assignment with relevant questions to prepare for the class. This can be anything from reading or listening, a relevant video or article, or a Flashpoint from MyEC so you can come to class prepared.
During class (90 mins.)
In small groups of 8-10 students you will collaborate on Zoom with your teacher. You’ll discuss goals, questions and set up the post-class collaboration and the pre-class assignment for the next day.
After class (30 mins.)
You’ll work on a writing or speaking collaborative activity. Each activity has clear success criteria to help you set goals and track your progress, with personalised feedback after each session.
