Yes, you can choose to stay with an Irish host family during your time with EC. You will have your own room with study space while sharing the rest of the home with the host family. Many English language students, especially those taking short courses, enjoy this option. This type of accommodation is called a “homestay.” Morning and evening meals are usually included, but lunch is not. Heating, electricity and laundry are generally included in the price.
You can book your accommodation directly with EC when booking your English course with EC. Accommodation is only available for the duration of your course. You can book your accommodation to arrive and leave on a Saturday. Typically, EC English courses start on Mondays and end on Fridays with a one-week minimum stay.
