Our residences are conveniently located in various areas of Dubai, providing students with easy access to EC Dubai via public transport or a short drive. Metro stations and bus stops nearby allow students to easily explore the city, including popular destinations such as shopping malls, parks and corniche.

Students living in our residence halls enjoy proximity to grocery stores, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Additionally, many apartments feature amenities such as fitness centers, swimming pools, and cozy common areas, offering the perfect balance of comfort and convenience of city living.

Single rooms offer air-conditioned comfort, a comfortable seating area, a private bathroom and access to shared facilities, ensuring privacy and convenience.

Twin rooms are ideal for students who value communal living, with thoughtful allocation of space for relaxing and studying.

Single-bedroom apartments offer a private and self-contained living space, ideal for students seeking additional independence and comfort.

Apartments typically feature a fully equipped modern kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, microwave and essential kitchenware, allowing students to prepare their own meals. Apartments also feature sitting areas, perfect for unwinding after a day of studying or exploring the city.

Journey to school

Arrival and Departure

Arrival and departure any day and any time. Standard bookings are for a week, from Saturday to Saturday or from Sunday to Sunday. Non-matching arrival or departure days are booked as extra nights.

House Rules

Students must be 18 years of age or older to select this accommodation.

Mixed Groups: Men and women share common areas and facilities, but bedrooms are separated by gender.

Deposit amounts collected upon check-in: $400 refundable deposit for single rooms, $250 refundable deposit for double rooms, and $25 non-refundable cleaning fee per student.

Students receive a key upon arrival; a $25 key deposit will be collected and returned upon return.

A maximum of 2 days is permitted for students staying in a private room and staying longer than one month.

Smoking is prohibited in any area of the residence hall.

While we support and encourage diversity, we cannot guarantee a specific language mix. However, we always encourage students to use English to communicate, and to be respectful and inclusive of others.

EC provides clean accommodation for all students and expects a minimum level of respect. For example, if something falls, pick it up; do not leave clothes and belongings on the floor; throw garbage and food scraps in a garbage bag.

Students are required to comply with the EC Student Code of Conduct, violation of which may result in termination of residence in the residence hall.

Cancellantions

Cancellation prior to arrival

Students cancelling or rescheduling 14 days or less prior to their accommodation date will be charged for two weeks’ accommodation at the rate stated on the accommodation booked, plus an accommodation fee.

Cancellation after arrival

Students leaving their accommodation must give notice in writing 4 weeks prior to termination. After deducting the price of accommodation used, including the required notice period, charged at standard accommodation rates, students will be refunded the remaining accommodation costs. If the 4-week notice period is not provided a cancellation fee equal to 4 weeks of the accommodation cost will apply.

If I choose a shared bedroom for my student accommodation in Dubai, who will I be sharing with?

You will be sharing your room with another EC student of the same gender. When students are sharing rooms, we try our best to place students together from different countries or languages, although this is not always guaranteed.

Choosing a room type depends on your lifestyle preferences. EC Dubai provides three room options in both our student residences and shared apartments:
