Your Accommodation

Each of our student residences is designed to deliver a comfortable and social living experience. You’ll enjoy a comfy bedroom, wide study desk and chair, a wardrobe and clever storage solutions. Shared spaces and modern amenities, including fully-equipped shared kitchens, create a welcoming environment for studying and socialising. You can choose form three room options to suit your preferences: A single room or shared room, which offer the fun of communal living, or a studio single room, for more independence and privacy. With a weekly cleaning service and onsite laundry, you’ll have everything you need to feel at home.

Arrival and Departure

Please arrive at the airport between 05:00 am and 23:00 pm. Late/early arrivals may be asked to book alternative accommodation. To book an airport transfer, please provide your flight number, arrival time, terminal and airport of origin – minimum 2 weeks in advance. 

Other ways to get to your shared apartment
You can take Uber/Lyft or taxi to the residence.

Arrival day: Saturday
Check-in: You can check in at 3pm, but if the room is ready early you will be allowed  to check in earlier. If the room isn’t ready and you come before 3pm, your luggage can be kept at the residence and you can wait in the lounge room. Late check in is allowed. 

You will check in and check out at the front desk. All students must have an ID. You will pick up and drop off keycards at the front desk. All arrivals and departures must be communicated at least 48h in advance.

Students must be 18 + to choose this residence

Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the residence. (Smoking is prohibited in public spaces like malls, houses of worship, educational institutions (schools and universities) and health and sports facilities

While we promote and support diversity, we cannot guarantee language mix. However, we always encourage students to use English to communicate, be respectful and inclusive of others

EC provides a clean living space for all students and expects a basic level of respect from all students. For example, if something is dropped, pick it up; do not leave clothes and belongings on the floor; place rubbish and leftovers in a garbage bag.

Students are required to follow EC Student Code of Conduct, failure to do so can result in termination of the accommodation.

Cancellations

Cancellation prior to arrival

Students cancelling or postponing 14 days or less prior to their accommodation dates will be charged a two-week accommodation fee at the rate quoted in the price list for the accommodation booked and the accommodation placement fee.

Cancellation after arrival

Students leaving their accommodation must give notice in writing 4 weeks prior to termination. After deducting the price of accommodation used, including the required notice period, charged at standard accommodation rates, students will be refunded the remaining accommodation costs. If the 4-week notice period is not provided a cancellation fee equal to 4 weeks of the accommodation cost will apply.

Our student residences and shared apartments are centrally located with proximity to key areas of Dubai and easy access to EC Dubai via shuttle bus. With metro stations or bus stops nearby, students can explore the vibrant city effortlessly, including popular destinations like malls, shops, parks, cafes, and promenades.

What public transportation options can I expect near my student accommodation in Dubai?

With its extensive public transport network, Dubai is a very easy city to navigate. Nearby options like the Metro, tram, buses, taxis and even a monorail make getting to school and exploring this fantastic city effortless.

If I choose a shared bedroom for my student accommodation in Dubai, who will I be sharing with?

You will be sharing your room with another EC student of the same gender. When students are sharing rooms, we try our best to place students together from different countries or languages, although this is not always guaranteed.

How should I choose a room option for my student accommodation in Dubai?

Choosing a room type depends on your lifestyle preferences. EC Dubai provides three room options in both our student residences and shared apartments:
