At EC Vancouver 30+, we offer host family and residence/student apartment accommodation. Our full agenda of dedicated trips, tours, and local events is designed to give students aged 30 and over exciting ways to use their English in real-world contexts.

Explore Stanley Park, an expansive urban forest park, where you can hike and enjoy nature. Visit the bustling Granville Island markets, immersing yourself in the everyday life of Vancouver. It’s no wonder that Vancouver is consistently ranked one of the most livable cities in the world—and one of the most student-friendly, too.  

All EC English schools have fantastic locations and that’s includes our Vancouver school! Close to exciting neighbourhoods and good public transportation, our 30+ language school is a bright, modern, and inspiring place to study English and take an exciting language learning adventure! We have students from all over the world and and lessons for all levels: lower-level students and higher-level students will find engaging classes here!

General English is our most popular course. General English 20 is 20 lessons per week/15 hours per week. Choose General English 24, 26 or 30 and choose from a range of additional elective classes to focus on the skills you want to improve. Perhaps you want to improve your grammar skills or English vocabulary, we’ll have an elective class for you (these classes are subject to change).

General English 30 is our full-time intensive course, it’s 22.5 hours per week and includes 10 additional elective classes (Special Focus Lessons).

Our English for Work course focuses on improving your English skills specifically for workplace communication. This includes developing proficiency in all four language skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) in professional contexts. It aims to build confidence in interacting with colleagues, leading meetings, giving presentations, and navigating various workplace situations.

One-to-One lessons in Vancouver are offer personalised language learning with a focus on individual needs and goals. They are tailored to your specific linguistic requirements, allowing for focused feedback and customised instruction on areas of difficulty. This approach is ideal to improve your specific language skills like conversation, grammar, or vocabulary in a short time. These private classes are 60 minutes long and can be combined with any EC English course.

The maximum students per class is 16 for all EC Vancouver 30+ courses.
