EC London offers a wide variety of special courses to help you improve your English to succeed at school and in the global workplace. General English is our most popular. Choose this course to improve all your English language skills. Our General English courses are available in 20- or 30-lesson formats per week. The 30-lesson option consists of 20 core lessons and 10 specialised electives, known as Special Focus Lessons. You can choose from a range of electives for your SFL.

If career advancement is your aim, English for Work, an intensive English course of 30 lessons per week, will help you develop the skills you need to progress in the global workplace.

If you need an exam preparation course, we have you covered for IELTS and Cambridge Exam (FCE and CAE).

At EC London, We offer host family or residence/student apartment accommodations.  If you choose a homestay option, you will live with a London family. This is a great option if you want an opportunity to practice your English with a local family over homecooked meals.  If you’re looking for more independence, you may want to consider a fully-equipped shared apartment with other students, and share some or all of the living spaces.

History
London is full of history. You can walk through the Tower of London and learn about kings, queens, and famous prisoners. Wtch the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace or the historic halls of Westminster Abbey. You can also see the Houses of Parliament and the famous Big Ben clock tower, which are must-see landmarks for any visitor.

Shopping
If you enjoy shopping, London has something for every style and budget. Visit Oxford Street for high-street fashion or Covent Garden for unique gifts and street performances. For luxury shopping, explore Bond Street, which is a good destination for luxury shops like Harrods. If you prefer vintage, try the markets at Camden, Brick Lane or Portobello Road.

Parks
For a big city, London is very green, with parks and gardens throughout. Relax in Hyde Park, have a picnic in St James’s Park or watch the deer at Richmond Park. Regent’s Park also has beautiful gardens and London Zoo. These parks are perfect for taking a break from the rush of city life.

The River Thames
The River Thames runs through London. You can take a walk along the South Bank, where you’ll find street performers, food markets, and places like the London Eye, Big Ben and Shakespeare’s Globe. Take a river cruise to see the city from a different point of view and enjoy landmarks like Tower Bridge and the Shard.
