EC London CELTA: Student Volunteers

EC London offers free English classes for adults who want to improve their English language skills. Teachers are training on the Cambridge English CELTA course in London.

About volunteer classes at EC London

When are classes?

Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6-8pm UK time.

Pre-Intermediate: 1st October – 17th December 2025
Upper Intermediate: 1st October – 17th December 2025

Entry requirements

✓ You must be an adult (16+ years)
✓ Agree to attend all the classes
✓ Be a suitable level for the class

Are lessons online or face-to-face?

We offer both online and face-to-face classes:
Online: Classes are on Zoom. You can be located anywhere in the world.
Face-to-face: Classes are at our centre in Angel Islington.

Why are classes frees?

The teachers are training for their Cambridge CELTA qualification and must teach real students to gain their certificate. All classes are observed by an experienced tutor.
